Tessa is a writer and immersive theater creator whose work has been featured in The New York Times, The Verge, and several literary magazines. Her debut chapbook of poetry Gold Hood was published by Bottlecap Press in 2025. Her work often draws from her experience as a dancer and all the mystery contained on a stage. She was awarded the Red Noise Collective Poetry Prize, nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and shortlisted for the Fractured Lit Ghost, Fable, and Fairy Tales Prize. Before all that, she was an NFL cheerleader for the Seattle Seahawks.
